Hi, my name is Yan Wang. I am an HCI researcher and software engineer. I received my Ph.D. in information technology at Monash University, Australia, in 2021. I am interested in exploring interaction techniques for augmented multisensory interactions. With my multidisciplinary background, I have been working on enriching eating and drinking experiences via augmented auditory interaction for my Ph.D. research. I develop concepts and interactive eating systems that contribute to the hospitality and digital health industry by using the human-centered design approach. I am passionate about solving systemic and complex problems by integrating design strategies and emergent technology to deliver value to our community and society.
